It was supposed to be a normal Saturday: a little soap, a sponge, a hose, and a sparkling clean car by lunchtime. But Nina had other ideas. She decided that cleaning the car was not enoughβit needed flair, pizzazz, and obviously, extra moves.
She started with the basics: soapy sponge in hand, lathering the car like she was painting a masterpiece. But then⦠she twirled. A spin here, a dramatic hair flip there. Every scrub became a dance move. Yo watched cautiously, holding the hose like a bewildered referee.
Then came the choreography. Nina ducked, lunged, and slid across the driveway like she was auditioning for Car Wash: The Musical. The soap suds flew in all directions. Yo got a face full of foam. A neighbor passed by and slowed down, squinting, clearly debating whether to call the fire departmentβor a dance troupe.
Next, the sponge toss. Nina launched it in a perfect arc. It bounced off the hood, flew over the roof, and landed in the flowerbed. Did she retrieve it? Of course. But not before adding a dramatic spin for flair. Vanja, recording the chaos on her phone, couldnβt stop laughing, tears streaming down her face.
Then came the hose. Nina attempted a synchronized spray routineβhighs, lows, twirlsβbut physics had other plans. Water went everywhere: the driveway, Yo, the neighborβs cat (innocent but alarmed), and of course, Nina herself, who ended up looking like a sparkling, dripping dance superhero.
By the end, the car was mostly clean, everyone was soaked, and the driveway looked like a sudsy disco. Nina struck a final pose, triumphant and glistening.
Moral of the story: Cleaning a car is overrated. Adding extra moves turns it into a chaotic, hilarious performance that no one will forgetβ¦ especially the cat. π
